Since establishing the Memphis office for Jim Robbins and Associates, Inc. in 1997, Walker Robbins has collaborated with plant management, engineers, maintenance teams, and operations personnel to evaluate, recommend, design, and specify equipment and systems for dry bulk solids handling and air pollution control. With extensive factory training and hands-on field experience, Walker’s expertise includes drying systems, dust collection, magnetic separation, feeding, dosing, metering equipment, pneumatic conveying, and explosion protection, among other specialized areas.
As a third-generation manufacturer’s representative, Walker has personally managed projects worth millions of dollars over the past 20 years, many of which are proprietary. Walker has successfully delivered solutions for small businesses to Fortune 500 companies across diverse industries, including chemical, rubber, plastics, wood, paper, building products, mining, minerals, glass, food, feed, power, steel, pharmaceutical, and power sectors. Additionally, Walker provides system evaluations, start-up assistance, and training services for the implemented solutions.
